We
renovated a 1902 farmhouse, the first home built on Port Madison in Bainbridge
Island. When we bought it the foundation had sunk and the whole house
was about ready to collapse. We kept the classic charm, fir
floors & bead board
ceilings but added modern touches like central heating and indoor plumbing.
